The Faculty of Education in Zliten organized a celebration yesterday, Monday, in honor of the International Day of the Arabic Language, which falls on December 18 each year. The aim was to enhance the status of the Arabic language, celebrate it, and highlight its role in conveying culture, knowledge, and various sciences.
Attending the event were the Mayor of Zliten, the Dean of the College of Human Resources Management in Zliten, the Dean of the Faculty, heads of scientific departments, faculty members, staff, and students, along with a number of specialists, stakeholders, and invited guests.
The celebration, held at the college theater, included a variety of activities and contributions that featured several speeches, student plays, and poetry recitations that shed light on the aesthetics and arts of the Arabic language.
The event concluded with the opening of an art exhibition showcasing artistic works that reflect the beauty of nature and the homeland.
Appreciation and gratitude were extended to all efforts that contributed to the success of this celebration, which was an opportunity to renew pride in the Arabic language and its rich heritage.
